It’s about time that I introduced Jessica, an extremely talented and super sweet Hair & Makeup Artist who has joined the team! Jessica not only brings her incredible skills to the studio, but also her warm and welcoming personality. Jessica Britt Makeup is available for freelance, wedding and private makeup lessons.
A little more about Jessica:
“My mother is a very classy lady and is the type of woman who applies lipstick just to go inside the gas station. So, I’ve always been exposed to cosmetics, skin care, and having an overall classy and fashion forward look. So, it was a natural progression to work in the beauty industry. I have been a makeup artist for Victoria’s Secret, Estee Lauder, and MAC as well as freelance.
Enhancing a woman’s natural beauty is very rewarding for several different reasons. I am a very relational person, so when I’m applying makeup I have the opportunity to hear someone’s story and get a glimpse of who they are. It makes me feel more connected to my fellow human beings and makes the city I live in feel more like a community. Having the opportunity to be one-on-one with another person also allows me the chance to have a positive impact on their day. The world that we live in is not always easy. Many of my clients are stressed, overworked, under appreciated, and are dealing with issues that are weighing them down emotionally. When they are in my makeup chair I have the chance to encourage them, relate to their situation, and offer a word of affirmation. When they finish their time with me, my hope is that they feel as renewed and glowing on the inside as they look on the outside.” -Jessica
