WHAT DO YOU DO?
Carl and Kenya have been married 24 years and live in Asheville raising their three teenage children. They run a large Online Love Academy for New paradigm relationships featuring 3000+ course offerings. The Stevens work with diverse relating styles such as polyamory, lgbt, asexual, and more, offering private coaching, polyamory trainings and general relationships consulting. The Stevens have been featured on Dr. Phil, Monique Show, ABC and FOX News making 14 national television appearances in all, plus hundreds of magazine and radio spots. The Stevens also created the first Asheville reality series ~ The show aired on Extreme Love and featured other Asheville Poly Partners! Currently Carl and Kenya are completing their 5th book — UPLVL Communication: The Ultimate Solution to Save Relationships and Eliminate Hurtful, Damaging and Meaningless Arguments.

Progressive Love Academy: To provide powerful tools, processes, trainings and coaching for overall emotional wellness in relationships. At the core of our work is elevation of the current consciousness around love and relationships to a new level where freedom and commitment are entwined. Our primary goal is healing for those who have been negatively impacted by relationships, providing a pathway of transcend suffering.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START YOUR BUSINESS?
The Stevens were inspired to become Love Coaches after successfully navigating a marriage that opened beautifully to polyamory at year twelve (12)! Utilizing the tools, models and processes they invented to free themselves and live a new lovestyle, they support their clients in doing the same!
WHAT INSPIRES YOU PERSONALLY?
Kenya is inspired by relationships, psychology and philosophy! She has two live in male partners whom inspire her each day as they successfully navigate challenge after challenge using her philosophical tools. Carl is an inspired writer! He documents all of Keny’s tools and turns them into usable content and media for couples around the world to enjoy! They are both inspired by the concept that there is a way out of the old thoughts around love and relationships that have kept all of us in turmoil so long.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO WHEN YOU ARE NOT WORKING?
When the Stevens are not working, they love to travel together with the kids, catch up on Netflix Shows and of course hike to the falls of Asheville!
WHEN DO YOU FEEL MOST BEAUTIFUL?
All the time! We humans are beautiful beings, a beautiful species with so much goodness in our hearts!
