I own a simple and affordable DIY and Lifestyle projects/ideas/tips website. I also am on air talent for television stations across the country presenting DIY segments as The Effortless Girl.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START YOUR BUSINESS?
My website started by chance. I began a blog (like everyone else) seven years ago and it has morphed into The Effortless Girl out of hard work but lots of sheer luck.

Simple – Affordable – Uncomplicated – Creative – Fun
HOW DO YOU DO WHAT YOU DO? WHAT MAKES THE WAY YOU ACHIEVE RESULTS INTERESTING OR UNIQUE?
I create DIY projects that are affordable and simple for everyone. You don’t necessarily have to have a skill level for art or making things (or even tools) to do an Effortless Girl project. In fact, I challenge myself to only present ideas that everyone can do with items that are most likely already have in your home. Effortless Girl projects take the stress out of DIY and Lifestyle ideas so they aren’t overwhelming with lots of materials and multiple steps. Doing this makes the final product beautiful and something the person that is creating it can be proud of – and will DIY another project from the EG site.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU PERSONALLY?
Being underestimated – proving to myself that I can accomplish my goals despite the odds or the obstacles.
