We are kicking the new year of right with a pretty sweet cover story in the January 2014 issue of Verve Magazine. The article features one of my beautiful and very courageous clients, Amy, who, after the birth of her fourth child, came into the studio for a Boudoir shoot but ended up with so much more. After her session Amy sent me an email which brought me to tears. In it she said:
“I thank you greatly for your compliments, your professionalism and your amazing ability. You and Meghan were so wonderful to work with and I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed the whole experience. I have always had a bit of a self-esteem issue but you guys made me feel as though I was the most beautiful woman in the world. What’s more, I actually saw myself as beautiful for the first time in my life. I began this process primarily as a gift for my husband, but I ended up receiving the best gift of all, a renewed love of myself. For that, I will be forever in your debt. I look forward to working again with both of you in the future.” I still get all kinds of choked up reading this because it puts into words that which we strive to accomplish with each and every woman who walks through our door. So thank you again, Amy, for your vulnerability, honesty and willingness to share yourself with all of us…you are absolutely gorgeous, inside and out.
