While I love photographing women of all ages, there is something especially remarkable about working with women in their 40s-60s. They have this air of self acceptance and confidence that is simply admirable. They’ve been there, done that. They’ve had time to explore themselves, raise children, see marriages flourish and fail, travel the world and mature into who they are. They’ve made mistakes, learned from them and then made some more; but it’s all good. In all honestly, if I could choose to work with one age group for the rest of my career, I would have to say, hands down, it is this one. xo
