WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START YOUR BUSINESS? I started my business because I am passionate about living life simply and minimally in a way that facilitates the things you really love. I saw many wasteful and inefficient practices in the larger firms that I worked for and was often left feeling overworked but unfulfilled by my role. By starting a boutique design firm that is based on personal service and authentic relationships I am able to work in a way that is most engaging, efficient, and satisfying for myself and my clients. I believe the simplest solution is often the best and look for that in all that I do.
HOW DO YOU DO WHAT YOU DO? WHAT MAKES THE WAY YOU ACHIEVE RESULTS INTERESTING OR UNIQUE? I refer to myself as a visionary designer. Based on what I experience with clients in their space, I ask questions that pertain to the project and listen carefully to all they tell me. I am often able to envision a completed space before I leave the initial consultation. I then develop my vision for them into a real space and work with them to make sure the space will serve them in the best way possible.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU? Travel, art both making and seeing, experiences- culinary, visual, books, cultures, pop culture, history, architecture
WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE CLIENT SUCCESS STORIES? I am very proud of the work I have done with the owners of Biscuithead. They are local business owners who are passionate about what they do, and I have been so fortunate to be able to manifest their passion into a space that embodies their ideals and gives a wonderful experience, both visually and functionally, to their customers. We have developed a great rapport and I look forward to working on more project with them in the future.
WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE QUOTES? Minimalism is the intentional promotion of the things we most value and the removal of anything that distracts us from it. – Joshua Becker
WHEN DO YOU FEEL MOST BEAUTIFUL?
I feel most beautiful in the summer, after a good workout, or in a place that I love. Also when I am dressed in things that flatter me, good (minimal) make up, and shiny, healthy hair 🙂
