Let’s face it. 2020 has been a naughty and stubborn force to be reckoned with. So far she has given us more wardrobe changes than a Beyonce concert. More ups and downs than an episode of Grey’s Anatomy. And more sweet and sour than a family size serving of Kung Pao Chicken. This year has been a whirlwind of forced changes. We have had to put on our big girl panties and roll with the punches into unknown territory. Blindfolded. In the dark. Uphill. Barefooted. (Thank goodness there wasn’t any snow.)
We lost jobs. We became untrained homeschool teachers. We were isolated from our girlfriends, date nights, and BARS. We forgot how to wear heels, makeup and bras. There was an overwhelming feeling of losing ourselves to the “new normal.” The last eight months of 2020 sure has given us a run for our money, but we have refused to let it kill our spirit. We are strong. We are resilient. When faced with adversity, we rise to the challenge. We might be a little tired and a little bruised, but when we look in the mirror, we see ourselves in a different light now. There is so much beauty in our strength!
My biggest desire is that we can celebrate all that we are and all that we’ve come through with a new appreciation for our bodies that have worked so hard and gracefully to get us to the other side of loving ourselves. If you are having a difficult time letting go and seeing yourself in this light, let me show you how. Boudoir photography can help you see yourself in your truest form… Sexy. Strong. Beautiful. Resilient. Worthy. Let’s make Asheville a town full of empowered souls, one woman (in lingerie) at a time.
